Document Settings

Using the Document Settings you can have access to adjust basic settings relating to WordPress and your post settings. 

To open the Document Settings click on the [gear icon] at the bottom of the left panel. 

Settings tab 

General Settings 

  1. Title - When you add a new post with WordPress you can add a title or one will be generated for you. You can change the title in these settings
  2. Status - Set the status of the post to Draft, Pending Review, Private or Public 
  3. Excerpt - Write and excerpt for your post 
  4. Featured Image - Add a featured image
  5. Hide Title - Enable the switch to hide the title of your post
  6. Page Layout - Choose a page layout if you want to have or not comprising elements of a blog post such as headers or footers. Choose from the drop-down list either Default, Elementor Canvas, or Elementor Full Width

Style Tab 

Body Style

Background Type: Classic

  1. Color - Pick a color as your background 
  2. Image - Choose to have an image as your background
  3. Padding - Set the padding values. You can unlink the padding to add separate values to Top, Bottom, Left, and Right

Background Type: Gradient

  1. Color - Choose the primary color for your background
  2. Location - Set the location for the primary color, this will affect its spread 
  3. Second Color - Pick a second color to match the gradient 
  4. Location - Set the location of the second color
  5. Type - Choose a gradient type to either be Linear or Radial 
  6. Angle - Set the gradient angle
  7. Padding - Set the padding values. You can unlink the padding to add separate values to Top, Bottom, Left, and Right

Advanced Tab 

  1. Custom CSS - Apply Custom CSS to any element
